ITU-R 提出 5G 相較 4G 的八大提升

Enhancement of key capabilities from IMT-Advanced to IMT-2020

ITU-R 在 2015/09 提出 5G (IMT-2020) 相較於 4G (IMT-advanced) 的八大關鍵能力提升建議：

• 峰值資料速率(Peak Data Rate)：自1Gbit/s 提升至 20 Gbit/s
• 使用者體驗資料速率(User experienced Data Rate)：自10Mbit/s -> 100Mbit/s
• 頻譜效率(Spectrum efficiency)：1x -> 3x 三倍效率提升
• 移動速率(Mobility)：350km/h -> 500km/h
• 延遲時間(Latency)：10ms -> 1ms
• 連線密度(Connection density)：每平方公里10萬部 -> 100萬部 聯網裝置
• 網路能源效率(Network energy efficiency)：1x -> 100x 百倍效率提升
• 區域流量容量(Area traffic capacity)：每平方公尺區域 0.1Mbit/s -> 10Mbit/s

雖不至於令人驚豔，但技術目標穩步提升，相信未來應用仍可讓5G用戶們心中有感~
